Walkabout Barber Brings Confidence and Connection While on Tour.

As part of the recent Future Immortals Tour, Walkabout Barber travelled to Mareeba, Kuranda and Atherton, delivering fresh cuts and real connection right across the community.

With support from Mulungu Health Care Service, the team provided free haircuts to locals all week — proving that something as simple as a cut can have a big impact. It’s not just about looking sharp — it’s about restoring confidence, creating safe spaces for a yarn, and reminding young blokes and Elders alike that they matter.

Walkabout Barber also backed our team on game day, helping our player partners get ready and running water when it counted. They showed up, chipped in, and made a difference.
