Future Immortals Tour Heads to Rockhampton for 2026 Debut

Central Queensland, Australia — April 2026

The Arthur Beetson Foundation is set to bring its powerful blend of sport, culture, and community to Central Queensland, with the Future Immortals Tour officially landing in Rockhampton from Wednesday 6 May to Sunday 10 May 2026.

Marking its first appearance in the region, the tour will unite rugby league legends, emerging athletes, and local communities through a week of meaningful engagement, connection, and opportunity.

A Week of Connection, Competition, and Community

The Rockhampton 2026 program has been designed to balance community engagement, sport, and networking opportunities:

  • Arrival & Welcome Event
A chance to bring together players, partners, and the local community

  • Community Fishing Competition (2 Days)
Featuring sponsor and community teams in a relaxed, inclusive format

  • Junior Coaching Clinics
Supporting grassroots development and inspiring the next generation

  • Exhibition Rugby League Match
Future Immortals Tour vs Rockhampton Old Boys

  • Corporate & Networking Function
Connecting partners, sponsors, and community leaders

This structure allows flexibility while ensuring each key element of the tour delivers impact where it matters most — in the community.

Fishing Competition: A Key Community Highlight

This element reflects the tour’s broader vision — creating environments where conversations, relationships, and opportunities happen naturally.

Culture at the Core

The 2026 tour will feature official apparel artwork by Brenton Bowen, representing the deep connection between land, sea, and sky.

The artwork symbolises:

  • The passing of knowledge through generations

  • The connection between people and place

  • The balance between tradition and future growth

It reinforces the tour’s message — that identity, culture, and community remain at the centre of everything.

A Tour Built on Legacy and Opportunity

The Future Immortals Tour continues to grow as a platform for positive change — using sport to open doors, spark conversations, and inspire future pathways.

As Rockhampton prepares to host this milestone event, the 2026 tour represents more than a visit — it’s a commitment to connection, culture, and creating opportunity across Central Queensland.
