ABF FIT Leaves Lasting Impact Across Rockhampton Community
Community, Culture and Connection at the Centre of Powerful Week in Central Queensland
The Arthur Beetson Foundation Future Immortals Tour has wrapped up an incredibly successful week in Rockhampton, leaving a lasting impact across the region through community engagement, youth development, cultural connection, health awareness and sport.
Held from May 6–10 across multiple locations throughout Rockhampton and surrounding communities, the tour brought together former rugby league greats, mentors, community leaders, sponsors, local organisations and families for a week focused on inspiration, education and connection.
The tour delivered a series of meaningful activations designed to engage local youth and community members beyond the football field, reinforcing the Arthur Beetson Foundation’s ongoing commitment to creating opportunities, strengthening identity and building stronger futures through sport and storytelling.
Throughout the week, participants took part in:
Community visits and cultural engagement activities
Youth mentoring and leadership conversations
School and organisation activations
Health and wellbeing discussions

The tour also created important opportunities for connection between generations, communities and organisations, while highlighting the importance of creating safe and empowering spaces for young people across regional Queensland.
